International Warranty Services and Product Certifications

Intequus offers a variety of international warranty service options. Working in conjunction with one of our partners, we have access to more than 6,000 international technicians. Customers can track all service activity with web-based applications, not matter where in the world service is required. Program options include:

  • Parts Replacement Services: Hardware failures are diagnosed over the phone and replacement components are drop-shipped to system location. This service requires that Intequus invoice our customer for replacement component, and customer is credited upon receipt of defective component in our U.S. parts depot.
  • Finished Goods Swap Pool: Intequus can maintain an inventory of finished goods for customers, available for same day shipping (with some limitation). This swap pool often serves as the fastest cost effective means to provide end customers with fully functional replacement systems. This pool is maintained in Intequus domestic warehouse locations. Customers own this inventory; Intequus manages the swap program.
    • By special agreement replacement components and finished goods can also be stocked in, shipped from, and returned to international locations. This program requires customers to purchase inventories of finished goods and replacement components.
  • Refurbishment Programs: Intequus offers refurbishment services. Charging a base fee and variable fees based on the work required, Intequus will refurbish returned units for use as customers see fit. Customers are also charged for any non-warranty components. Many customers utilize this service to seed and maintain inventory for a swap pool.
  • On-site Services: Intequus offers international on-site services through our partners. Under this program defective systems, within designated worldwide service areas, can be serviced where they are installed. Options within the program include various response times, including technicians on-site with or without replacement components, or to swap “parts closet” onsite components.

PartnerLink eCommerce Web Portal

Intequus customers utilize our PartnerLink eCommerce web portal to transact international business 7/24/365. This tool provides customers with direct access to their account, including tracking of orders, shipments, RMAs, quotes, account history, system configurations, and more. The tool is extensible so that the configurators can function on customer web sites without any mention of Intequus. This allows customer personnel access to information no matter where in the world they work from. PartnerLink helps customers operate more efficiently.

International Shipping

Intequus has 7 manufacturing locations in the U.S., with primary facilities in CA and MN. From these centers we can ship to anywhere in the world, including drop shipments directly to our customers’ customers. Utilizing a variety of carriers, Intequus will manage all required paperwork, and analyze delivery and handling requirements to minimize cost. In order to effectively and efficiently manage international shipments Intequus requires the following information from customers:

  • Quantity of systems
  • End destination company name and address
  • Delivery date required
  • Finished goods inventory management plan, or sufficient lead time for custom build
  • Payment for all VAT costs

Material Management Programs

Material Management Programs

Customer Supplied Product: This is a means by which customers provide Intequus with unique raw materials that are to be integrated in finished systems. This can range from custom controller boards to software license keys. By eliminating the need for customers to touch product post-production Intequus can ship directly to international locations, reducing cost and time to market, and allowing for easier management of end-of-quarter and end-of-year rush shipments.

Inventory Hold Agreement: With this agreement customers have Intequus purchase and hold raw materials for later integration in systems. This program allows customers to shorten delivery times by removing long lead times on certain raw materials, and also provides a means to manage materials that go End-of-life.

Finished Goods Product Control: Some customers prefer to have complete systems in stock at Intequus warehouses for immediate shipment. With this program customers are required to purchase systems which Intequus will then hold and manage in our facilities. As inventories are depleted customers are then prompted to reorder to backfill inventory.

Lifecycle Management: Intequus proactively manages component life cycles for each customer BOM. Aided by customer guidance regarding their vision for future product development, Intequus engineers hardware solutions for various price/performance metrics. This collaborative effort typically reduces customer R&D investment and allows customers to quickly transition to new technologies.
